"We recently held one of our mountain bike skills camps in Derby and are more than happy to recommend the Dales of Derby to anybody - it really is a beautifully designed space: comfortable, welcoming and they have forgotten nothing to make a mountain bike group happy. It can hold a large group really well with enough space, dining equipment, parking, bike storage and comfy beds for everyone. There are several good spots for socializing after a ride: lounges around the fireplace, a huge dining table or our favorite spot for a beverage on the veranda, (or what became the outside bar :)!). Talking, having a laugh and watching the river go by from this spot is SO good. All of our guests loved their stay at the Dales and it was a major contributing factor to the weekend, with relaxing and recovery for the next days riding being crucial to the success of yet another Trailheads MTB skills camp. "
