The Arc’teryx Trail Summit was back for a second year, this time held in Derby, Tasmania in preparation for the launch of our Hobart CBD store.
This intimate event gave attendees the opportunity to run on the renowned Mountain Bike trails local to Derby with four Arc’teryx ambassadors from all over Australia and New Zealand as guides.
From enjoying the breathtaking morning winter frost, to a steam and dip session at the Floating Lake Sauna, and restauranteur Guy Turland as our in-house chef for the weekend – this experience was designed for guests to connect with each other and nature.
Evenings were accompanied by more local produce served up communally on the long dining table, and storytelling by the Arc’teryx crew – as well as a few fun mingling games.
The Dales of Derby was the perfect accommodation for a self-catered weekend in Tasmanian winter-time. The fireplace was forever occupied, lattes were the first smell of the morning thanks to the coffee machines, and the wooden bunkrooms encouraged friendships just as much as time on the trails. We had a splendid time, and will be back!
