It’s taken all week for the legs and body to recover from an awesome 3 days of riding.
After our successful trip in 2018, our group expanded to 16 riders this year which gave us the opportunity to book our stay at Dales of Derby.
As soon as we arrived we all knew we’d made the right decision, plenty of room for all of us, warm rooms with comfortable bedding, the perfect kitchen and dining area for catering for such a large group and a roaring fire to dry the bike shoes out!
With one architect and 4 builders of architectural projects in the group we were all incredibly impressed with the attention to detail, material selections and clever use of space combined with a few architectural tricks to top off an incredible building.
I have no doubt we will be back again and look forward to seeing the property settle into its beautiful surroundings, but I’ll bring my fly rod next time!
